International Mother Language Day
As we all know, we are one of the most vibrant countries in the world, known for our rich culture, warm hospitality, and deep-rooted inclusivity. One of the defining characteristics of our nation is the diverse range of languages spoken across different regions, yet all bound together by the spirit of "Unity in Diversity."
To celebrate this linguistic and cultural richness, the RAjbhASHA vibhAg, IIT dhArwAD cordially invites you to be a part of International Mother Language Day (अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस). This occasion is dedicated to honoring our mother tongues and promoting cultural exchange within our institute.

We encourage all members of the IIT Dharwad community to actively participate and contribute by presenting something in your mother tongue, such as:
Poetry recitation
Storytelling or folklore narration
Songs or musical performances
Short speeches or essays
Traditional proverbs and their significance
Languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati, Assamese, Marathi, Manipuri, Punjabi, Odia, Bengali, Himanchali, Kashmiri, Dogri, Maithili, Konkani, Santali, Tulu, Bodo, and many more are welcome!
Call for Volunteers
We are also looking for language representatives who can help coordinate activities and presentations for their respective languages.
