General Procedure for Applying 

1.   For candidates with GATE score - The applications for M.Tech. in IIT Dharwad through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP ) are based on GATE score. Regular admissions shall be made through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). The following are the steps to follow to apply for an M.Tech. Program as IIT Dharwad:
Step 1 - All interested and eligible candidates are required to register on COAP. Note the COAP registration number.
Step 2 - Submit the online M.Tech. application using the application link provided on IIT Dharwad M.Tech. Admission portal.
Step 3 - As per the COAP schedule of various rounds for finalizing offers, the candidates can access and confirm the results on the COAP portal.
 

2.   For candidates who have B.Tech. or equivalent degree from IITs or BS degree from IISc with Minimum CPI/CGPA of 8.0:
Follow Step 2 above - Submit the application directly and mention IIT_IISc_UG for all COAP and GATE-related fields in the application form. Offers will be conveyed through email.
