A team of five members from our Institute CSE department, (Anand Hegde, Arvind Kumar M, Pavan Kumar V Patil, Shashank P, and Varendra Maurya) won first place NWKRTC Bus Tracking - Hackathon

The Department of NWKRTC (NORTH WESTERN KARNATAKA ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION) required an application to track their luxury buses. In this regard, they conducted a three-month hackathon. The requirement was to track their buses without a dedicated GPS device per bus. A team of five members, Anand Hegde, Arvind Kumar M, Pavan Kumar V Patil, Shashank P, and Varendra Maurya (CSE Dept.), participated in the event and won first place after presenting a mobile app and web app. NWKRTC also deployed the vehicle tracking application live to the public.
